Consejos Distritales Electorales
Para la organización electoral, el estado se subdivide en 28 distritos electorales, en cada una de las cabeceras de los distritos electorales del Estado, funcionará un Consejo Distrital Electoral.
Los Consejos Distritales son los órganos desconcentrados del Instituto Electoral y de Participación Ciudadana del Estado de Guerrero, encargados de la preparación, desarrollo y vigilancia del proceso electoral, dentro de sus respectivas jurisdicciones, conforme a la Ley Electoral Local y a las disposiciones que emita el Consejo General de este Instituto Electoral. Los Consejos Distritales participarán en las elecciones de Gubernatura, Diputaciones y Ayuntamientos.
